Setup Neo MX and TXT records for TSO Host

The Neo MX record needs to be added to the TSO client area(my.tsohost.com) and here are the exact steps that you'd need to follow for your domain.

Firstly, please check where your domain's NS records are pointing to. To do so, follow these steps:

If your domain's NS records are either of the following, you will have to make changes. 

• ns1.tsodns.co.uk and ns2.tsodns.co.uk 
• ns1.tsohost.com and ns2.tsohost.com

To review or change the nameservers, click here.

Are the nameservers correct? Perfect! To proceed to add DNS records, click here. 

And if your NS records are not pointing to TSO then please click here.

Review or change NS records

1. Login to your TSO client area (my.tsohost.com)

2. Under Domains, go to My domains

3. Select the domain you want to check and click on the "Manage Nameservers" from the dropdown towards the right.

4. Check what your NS records have been set as in the respective fields

To change your domain's NS records: 

1. Select the option of Use custom nameservers

2. Change the existing NS records to ns1.tsodns.com and ns2.tsodns.com

Adding DNS records

1. Login to your TSO client area (my.tsohost.com)

2. Under Domains, go to My domains 

3. Select the domain you want to manage and click on the "Manage domain" from the dropdown towards the right.

4. In the next page, click on Custome DNS records ( menu on the left )

 5. Now, just scroll down a little and add the MX record by entering these values (omit the quotes):

• Type: "MX"
• TTL: "3600"
• Content: "mx0001.neo.space"

 6. Once MX record is added, just add the priority as 10 and click on Update Zone.

7. Similarly, following the steps mentioned above, add another MX record having values (omit the quotes):

• Type: "MX"
• TTL: "3600"
• Content: "mx0002.neo.space"
• Priority: "20"

8. Finally, SPF record has to be added. This can be done following the steps mentioned above. The values to be entered are (omit the quotes):

• Type: "TXT"
• TTL: "3600"
• Content: "v=spf1 include:spf0001.neo.space ~all"
