Writing better prompts for Smart Write

Smart Write relies on prompts to understand and generate appropriate responses to user inputs. The quality of these prompts significantly impacts the accuracy, relevance, and tone of the responses generated by our system. Therefore, it is crucial to write prompts that are clear, concise, and contextually relevant.

Here are a few tips to keep in mind when writing prompts for your email:

• Be specific: Provide clear instructions or ask direct questions to elicit the desired information or response. 
• Include necessary details: Ensure that the prompts include all the relevant information needed for the Smart Write feature to understand the context of the email. This can include specific keywords, names, dates, or any other relevant details.
• Use appropriate language and tone: The prompts should be written in a language and tone that aligns with the intended audience. Consider the objective and preferences of your recipients to ensure that the generated responses are relatable and understandable.
• Test and iterate: It is essential to test the effectiveness of the prompts by using the Smart Write feature and analysing the generated responses. If necessary, iterate and refine the prompts to improve the accuracy and relevance of the generated responses.

Here is an example of how you can write a better prompt that helps you generate an email to best match your emailing needs -

• If the AI based generated email is not what you are looking for if entered the first prompt, then you can re-work your prompt as seen for the second prompt.
• If you see in this above example for the second prompt, we have specified that the financial advisory service is for the real estates in the input prompt which captures the specific set of target audience and the email generated focuses on real estates agencies as the potential clients.
• Further, mentioning the purpose as "to help clients optimize their investment portfolios" gives more context for to reason as to why the financial advisory service is set for the real estates. 
• Hope this brings in clarity in writing the prompts to get the best desired output.

Below example shall help you generate a response for an email you wish to respond back:

• Imagine you receive an email for a collaboration for your Health and Beauty care products and have received an invite for  a catch up to discuss the collaboration further and enter the below input in the prompt :   

• If the AI based generated email is not what you are looking for if entered the first prompt, then you can re-work your prompt as seen for the second prompt.
• If you see in this above example, re-working the input prompt by mentioning your availability and the location for the catch up for business collaboration removes any uncertainty and to and fro in the communication with the generated smart response.
• This ensures that you receive a desired output that focuses on details you provide so that your email looks effective and engaging.
