- Make your Twitter account public
To embed your Twitter posts, your account must be set to public. If your Twitter account isn’t already public, follow these steps to make it public:- Open the Twitter app or visit the Twitter website on your desktop.
- Go to your profile by tapping your profile picture in the top left (mobile) or top right (desktop).
- Go to Settings -> Privacy and safety → Audience, media and tagging
- Ensure that Protect your Tweets is unchecked. This will make your account public and allow Twitter posts to be embedded.
Get the Twitter post URL or embed code
You can embed your Twitter post by either pasting the post URL or post embed code in the embed section of your Neo Site.
2.1 To get the post URL:- Mobile:
- On the Twitter mobile app, navigate to the tweet you want to embed.
- Tap the Share icon and then select Copy Link. The URL will be copied to your clipboard.
- Desktop:
- Visit Twitter on your desktop browser. Navigate to the tweet you want to embed.
- Click the Share icon below the tweet, then select Copy link to Tweet.
2.2 To get the embed code (desktop only):
- Visit Twitter on your desktop browser. Navigate to the tweet you want to embed.
- Click the three dots at the top of the tweet, then select Embed Tweet.
- Click Copy Code to copy the embed code to your clipboard.
- Mobile:
- Add the URL or embed code to your Neo Site
- Add a new section, select Embed, and paste your copied Twitter post URL or embed code into the Embed code field.
- See the Twitter post in action in the Preview immediately.
- Publish your Neo Site
Publish your Neo Site to display your embedded Twitter post on your Neo Site.
