1. Make your Instagram account public
- To embed your Instagram posts, your account must be set to public. If your Instagram account isn’t already public, here's how you can do that:
- Open the Instagram app or visit the Instagram website on your desktop.
- Go to your profile by tapping your profile icon in the bottom right (mobile) or top right (desktop).
- Tap the three horizontal lines (hamburger menu) in the top right corner of the mobile app or click on the gear icon on desktop.
- Go to Settings.
- In the mobile app, tap Privacy, and under the Account Privacy section, make sure the Private Account toggle is turned off. On desktop, go to the Privacy and Security tab, and under Account Privacy, uncheck the box next to Private Account.
- This will make your account public and allow Instagram posts to be embedded.
2. Get the Instagram post URL or embed code
You can embed your Instagram post by either pasting the post URL or post embed code in the embed section of your Neo Site
2.1 To get the post URL:
Mobile:
- On the Instagram mobile app, navigate to the post you want to embed.
- Tap Share icon and click Copy Link. The URL will be copied to your clipboard.
Desktop
- Visit Instagram on your desktop browser. Navigate to the post you want to embed. Below the post, click the three dots in the top right corner
- Click on Copy link
2.2 To get the embed code (desktop only):
Visit Instagram on your desktop browser. Navigate to the post you want to embed. Below the post, click the three dots in the top right corner and select Embed. Then click Copy Embed Code.
3. Add the URL or embed code to your Neo Site
- Add a new section, select 'Embed', and paste your copied Instagram post URL / embed code into the Embed code field.
- See the Instagram post in action in the Preview immediately.
4. Publish your Neo Site
- Publish your Neo Site to display your embedded Instagram post on your Neo Site.
